The name
Old Persian
She who remembers the light. We needed a name for the part of the project that keeps things — not a database, not a feed. Something that holds what you hand it and doesn’t ask you to justify it first.
Why
The problem was never belief.
There are two places to put an experience like this. One is a forum where everything is true, and nothing there can be taken seriously because nothing is ever doubted. The other is a room where the only permitted response is a rational explanation, which is a way of asking the person to withdraw what they said.
Neither is credible. One believes too easily, the other doesn’t listen. So the story gets told once, badly, and then not again.
YadaRaoca would be the third room. Things recorded as reported. Doubt is allowed, and so is wonder. Nothing resolved on anyone’s behalf. We're building it.
